Void Series, 2026
Each work begins with blind cartographic inscription. The artist enters the
void without sight, establishing spatial coordinates on canvas. Only after
this foundational mapping do the recurring symbols locate themselves.
A ruler is used to pencil the 3D triangles — precise geometry drawn into
chaos. From the void emerges a personal cosmology of time, power, and
witness: two hands bearing eyes, a third eye located in the bottom
right corner, the hourglass, and 369.
The Void is rendered in
#1B2951
— a non-colour that holds all colour. The tri-ocular hands see past, present,
future simultaneously. The hourglass measures not minutes, but purpose.
No composition is planned. All is transcribed. Works are completed only when
the symbols declare themselves finished.

Primary Doubt
Coordinates set blind, then ruled out in pencil — 3D triangles and
freemasonry symbolism drawn edge to edge — and the canvas turned upside
down before any paint went on. Flat acrylic, no gradients, every edge
painted to a line. Red, cobalt and yellow carry the grid; magenta, purple
and orange break it. The third eye sits in the bottom right corner, worked
in black and white, the one place the colour stops.
The subject is doubt: the thought that arrives at every step of making
something, and at every step of living with bipolar. What the painting
answers with is persistence — careful, correct colour coordination, and
the determination to believe the work will be good.

Your Money Is Mine
Conceived and executed meter-by-meter through a disciplined, process-led approach. The work commences with an act of disruption: a drink is thrown onto a blank canvas ground. From that initial incursion, the painting proceeds into “the void” via an instinctive gesture — placing the pencil behind the artist without looking — after which the composition unfolds organically from that point of origin.
The piece bears layered symbolism alongside a clear geometric resolve. Freemasonry is referenced through emblematic motifs including eyes in the hands, as well as through effects of concealment. Dark navy is employed to sink into black, creating the sense of hiding within the black — an idea of watchful, controlled visibility: hiding in plain sight. Black, white and sky blue establish a tonal harmony that resonates with Masonic ceremonial design.
Throughout the surface, the numbers 3, 6 and 9 are scattered as markers of universal pattern and cosmic recurrence. Central to the construction are classic 3D triangular forms, presented as both spiritual geometry and an enduring obsession. Characterised as “90s cubism” — a reframing of Cubist fracture through a 1990s sensibility — the lower-left chromatic palette is rendered using the colour family of the Nintendo 64 logo.
The artwork’s value is made physical through an integrated price tag: constructed from a pocket-sized green leather New Testament Bible with three pages torn out and fixed behind a cut window, with cardboard adhered to the front and the price £25,000,000 painted in red acrylic. Accompanied by a one-off hand-signed authentication certificate.
